Project Description

The Youth Mentorship Program is a unique opportunity for college students to be mentors for middle and high school students. Within this project, we’ve created modules in both college awareness and financial literacy. As a team, we focus on key skills such as resume building, soft skills needed in the real world, how to use bank accounts, and how to fill out forms such as the W-4 tax form. We currently plan on teaching in one school and look to expand to three schools by the end of the year.
